Are all meals included on my trip?
Meals are not included in Paris or the French Riviera. However, while on board, 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 7 dinners will be served
Are there any special evenings on board?
There are too many to count! Captain’s Welcome, Welcome Dinner, Karaoke(?), one themed night, a Farewell Reception, and Farewell Dinner, are all part of the experience
Do I need to stay with the group and follow the group every day?
Heck no! This is just as much your adventure as it is ours. We’ll set a course for adventure and your mind on a new romance. You…do what you like!
Can kids come?
In 2024, on the Rhine, we will have 12 children on board, ages 10-18. All of them are participating in the races and the experience is just as much for them as it is us adults. It’s important to note that adults will indulge on these trips, so parents need to be conscious of that environment, and have a certain level of comfort in it.
Are airport transfers included from Paris to the hotel and from the French Riviera to the airport?
Unfortunately not. There are just too many people coming from too many places with too many different agendas for us to juggle those logistics.
How is the per person price so much more affordable than the per person price advertised on the ship’s website?
There is strength in numbers! By privately chartering the ship, we’re able to bring the cost down, by essentially guaranteeing a sold out ship. This is our third adventure with Uniworld, and our relationship has been strong for six years now. All of these things point to the most affordable trip down the Rhone that anyone can find.
How many nights of accommodations does the trip cover?
Nine! 1 hotel night in Paris, a 7-night cruise in a riverview stateroom on the striking S.S. Catherine, and 1 night on the French Riviera
What is the quality of the rooms like?
Almost a little too nice if you ask us! These lavishly appointed riverview staterooms and suites have handcrafted Savoir Beds of England, high thread count 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, and a menu of pillow options. We here at Race2Adventure can attest, we have never given racers a pillow menu!
While on the Rhone River, is it easy to communicate with the outside world?
Free internet and Wi-Fi access are provided while on board.
